I've had the privilege working with people and their struggles in life now for 25 years. If you pay attention, you can learn a lot about people and life from my chair.

One of the things I've learned is that there are an amazing amount of ways to mess up and complicate your life.

One of the most sure fire ways to complicate your life is to have an extra-marital affair.

One of the reasons I say this is because once you enter into an extramarital affair, someone is gonna get really hurt. It could be the person to whom you have been committed, the person whom with you are having the affair, or you. Or all three of you and more.

If you leave your commitment and stay with the new person, the person to whom you have been committed is hurt.

If you go back to your commitment, the person you have been with and who still wants to be with you gets hurt.

If you choose to be with neither of them, they both are hurt. Or you may wind up with neither of them wanting to be with you, then you get hurt.

There's plenty of hurt to go around.
