Holiday Rambler-A Review of the Scepter

Holiday Rambler is one of the more popular makers of recreational vehicles. They have been around for quite some time and they have a number of different models to choose from. The majority of the models in Holiday Rambler line are Class A diesel pusher mobile homes. The prices range from under $150,000 for the most basic to over $400,000 for the top of the line model. The Holiday Rambler Scepter is a mid-priced model which begins at just over $250,000. Here are some specifics:

The Scepter has seven different floor plans to choose from. The length of the RV ranges from 38 to 42 feet. The interior ceiling height is 7 feet, a recent modification which Holiday Rambler has made in its motor coaches to make them seem more spacious inside. The floor plans vary in the location of the different features, such as where the slideouts are, where the bedroom and bathroom are located, and where the dining area is.

Unlike some of the more expensive models, the pillow top mattress on the bed is optional. All of the bedrooms do include a TV in them. The closet and wardrobe location and size varies with each floor plan as well. RV manufacturers such as Holiday Rambler are getting better at making every inch count in the limited space of an RV and you will find many storage and other options in the Scepter.

The Scepter does not have full size kitchen appliances, but they are stainless steel and are fairly large. The standard 12 cubic foot double door refrigerator has an ice maker as does the optional 14 cubic foot. The countertops are solid surface construction; the kitchen sink has that as an option. The floors are a combination of carpet and ceramic tile. It also has standard designer upholstery and furnishings.
