It's been said that you can get extremely wealthy just by making something that is complicated and complex sound simple and easy. And I have found this to be especially true with Internet marketing. The people who thrive selling online are the people who take things people have trouble figuring out, and make it simple and easy to do. They simplify the lives of everyone they sell to, instead of confusing them. Case in point: I recently did a consult with a woman who was a wizard at using the spreadsheet program Excel. She had called me up asking me for ideas on how to make money. I told her, write an ebook or do a product on how the average person can use Excel. Everyone in an office has to use Excel. And yet, for many of us, it is a complete mystery. In fact, she told me most people who know Excel are really only using 20% of its capabilities. It has far more potential to speed up a person's work and make life easier on people than most of us would ever suspect. And I told her thats her hook. Youd have to torture most of us to actually sit down and learn everything she knows about Excel. Most of us just don't have the time or patience. And I said, if you simply take what you know, put it in a book in "baby talk" (in other words, pretend you are explaining things to a small child) and you will have a product people will stand in line to buy. And you want to know something? It's the same with you, me and everyone else. We all know something most other people don't. Whether it be from a job you worked at or a hobby or a class you happened to be good at in school. Think of ways you can help simplify people's lives, and you will be able to make all the money you can stand on the Internet. |
