If you want to market your own information products but don't like to write, or simply don't have the time then you will want to consider buying reseller rights to existing information products on the internet.
Generally speaking, when you buy an information product with reseller rights you get the file and sometimes the sales page. It may also include a reseller's license that spells out what you can and can't do. For example, the license may state that you can sell the product, but no give it away.
So what are the advantages of buying resale rights to an information product? Here are the main advantages of resale rights:
1) Saves you time. One big advantage of resale rights products is that you don't have to write one word - the information product is already created. This can save you weeks or months that it would otherwise take to write your own ebook for example.
That means you can focus most of your time on marketing and selling your new product (instead of creating it). If you want to be up and running quickly with a new information product, reseller rights can be an ideal answer.
2) Ready made website with professional sales copy. Ideally you want to get resale rights to an information product that has a ready made website, with proven sales copy that converts visitors into buyers. This saves you time and increases your chances of successfully selling the information product.
3) Saves you money. If you buy resale rights to an information product that already has a product image (i.e., ebook cover), website and sales letter, you save money. Why? Because you don't have to hire a website designer or ecover designer if that was included.
And let's not forget the money you save in terms of the time (what is your time worth?) and research costs involved in creating your own information product.
4) You keep all of the profits from each sale. Since you own the resale rights to the information product you keep all of the profits from each sale. Keep in mind you will need way to process payments from your customers. On that note, one option you will want to consider is using a third-party payment processor such as PayPal or Clickbank.
There are a number of other advantages to purchasing reseller rights but the above are the ones I consider most important. So if you haven't given much thought to resale rights in the past, now is the time to explore that option further.
